Booty Luv InterviewSince breaking away from Big Brovaz, Booty Luv (Cherise and Nadia) have had a whirlwind of a time. Four top ten singles including the dance-smash Boogie2nite, alongside a silver selling album has seen them propelled to the top of the charts, they stop to chat to Reprezent 87.7 FM
You came down to the launch on the 5th what did you think of the broadcast?
C: It’s such a great project, its surprising the scale of it all and how much work has gone into it. It was run really professionally by the young people, they really knew what they were doing.
N: They really kept the show together and made it work. It was great to be there and be part of it.
What’s your tip for all everyone out there who is working on and listening to Reprezent 87.7 FM?
N: Keep with it, keep doing it, it’s a really good project and you get to learn skills. I wish someone taught me those skills when I was this age. Keep it up, get off the streets and get into music.
Boogie2Nite was the song that really moved you on from Big Brovaz, did you realise it was going to be such a hit?
C: I knew it was a really good song but I was amazed at the feedback we got. We were a big fan of the origianl by Tweet.
Now you moving on fast with Booty Luv, what’s happened to Big Brovaz guys…?
N: They’re still doing their own thing, recording and writing. I saw one of them the other week.
What’s Next for Booty Luv?
N: We been recording our next album
C: but at the moment we are hoping to get some time off for a holiday!
Thanks Booty Luv!
